Attending a Lecture

The Forum sponsors lectures on a variety of topics by prominent scholars.

The lectures are presented either in person with Zoom access or exclusively on Zoom. The schedule varies monthly, with two lecture “double features” usually held on weekends at various in-person venues.

All lectures are free to ADAF Members.

Each Forum lecture counts as one hour of educational credit for the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the American Society of Interior Decorators (ASID) and the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).

Forum members are also invited to attend receptions each year for the guest speakers. Most receptions are held at members’ homes throughout the Bay Area. The Forum also arranges special curated tours of museum exhibitions, intensive study groups, social events, and day and weekend trips to private collections in Northern California and beyond.
